A film that celebrates the American values of making sure not to help other people, literally weaponising the Christian church and keeping communities separate.

There’s some good sequences and Lou Llobel is solid, but there’s a weak script that didn’t do enough to stop my eyes rolling. With a monster with no discernible ruleset, this is a problem.

Rarely do we get the privilege of something so clearly wrong on every level that it invites us to reflect deeply on everything we hold dear. A gift. Utterly dreadful.

Like, it’s interesting but films made by some guy who’s surprised by what he finds on the internet seem insufficient atm.
