Saw this a few days ago and went in blind for the reveal and was pretty shocked. I didn’t know what to think about the entire movie after seeing it. But the more I thought about it, the more I liked it.
Such a serious issue but the tone it takes to approach it is bold. It masterfully balances the humor and chaos of the situation. The chaos as it starts ramping up just keeps you glued to the screen.…

They did it again. It’s another whodunnit in the Knives Out series but Wake Up Dead Man feels so fresh and different from the other two with the story and how it’s told. The movie goes like 30 minutes of just following Josh O’Connor’s character setting everything up before the mystery kicks in. He is the star of the movie, he brings the emotion and drives the story along with Daniel Craig. Them two really set the tone. It switches…

Went into this without having any prior knowledge about it at all besides what I saw from the trailers. And I was pretty mixed about this movie, it honestly lost me at a certain point and didn’t really pull me back in after.

Renate Reinsve has been really great with her performances for a long time now but in this I thought she was good not great, Chiwetel Ejiofor was really good in this I thought he had some moments…

Holy shit…This was a hell of a debut by Curry Barker, not a single dull moment the entire movie. And I think that was one of the best performances in recent memory by Inde Navarratte. I think if she didn’t play it as well as she did, some of the moments might have come off as goofy but it didn’t feel like that at all. The shift in her performance at the beginning was so important to the movie as…

Was in awe of some parts in this movie. The designs and effects of everything in space was amazing. Ryan gosling was basically a one-man show and pulled it off.

The relationship between Rocky and Grace was the best part of it all. Some very emotional moments that hit you. Very funny but there were some comedic moments that didn’t land, where the tone felt off. But those moments were rare. Did not feel the run-time at all really, and I thought the ending was great without it having to over-explain what happens next or specifics. Takes the crown for 2026…for right now.
