My Current 4 Faves: best first time watches of 2025
Every moment of beautiful imagery and cinematic poetry gets eventually lost in over two hours of Terry's frenetic editing. Normally I like that about modern Malick, but the content and the message of this film were spread too thin for me to recommend it to others.
The on-set intimacy coordinator was eating good after shooting wrapped though, I'm sure.
