Clear characters, beautiful compositions and wonderful lighting choices. It’s shimmery and rich in contrast. Funny, unique and develops satisfyingly. Watch out for the sex den apartment and the green pussy wagon.

A fashion film if you ask me.

There’s a brilliance to coming up with the initial idea but another one to the unintentional character portrait of Billy. The recreations in Caveh style and playful glitchy visuals takes the edge off of judgmental opinions about the subject matter. I think the form says more than reading too much into the conversation. 

I don’t know man, conflict can happen and people can still talk to each other. Kind of a refreshing idea.

This movie put a smile on my face. It’s a melodrama, arthouse, thriller, shlock, detective and the hero’s journey all in one. You think you know what it is, but then each scene gets stranger and stranger but also reveals cunningly. Terrific creepy lead. Melanie Griffith was hilarious. Really enjoyed this movie.
