Pretty interesting movie. I'm not much a western person so this is a whole genre that's largely untapped for me. Pretty unintentionally hilarious. Elephant in the room, obvious insane amounts of racism here and not really savory depiction of Native Americans. Unbelievably confusing and frustrating. Two hour runtime that does nothing with almost all of it. I liked the suspense and the digging into the messy lives of these characters, but holy fuck it dragged on much longer than it needed. Showing each characters eventual buildup to the present was a cool idea, but executed poorly.
