literally obsessed with this movie

the sense of time in the movie was obscured except for bella baxter's growth and journey from a child to a woman, each significant arc marked by a given chapter title sequence. I felt time was an illusion while watching since there was no sense of time, many locations shown minus bella's home that remained constant, and the mix of different time period's fashions/technology.
