On an even par with the first one. The story drops a little but the introduction of new characters and the amazing fire related animation are all a step up for this sequel that no one saw coming and a sequel that certainly wasn't requested. Again, like its predecessor this does very little to offend and is a pleasant movie. It won't change your world but a pleasant 90 minutes when you want something simple.

This film builds on the excellent foundation Homecoming gave us, matching it for tone, upping action and continuing to give us entertaining characters. Holland continues to prove he is worthy of high praise as does the rest of the cast. Gylenhalls Mysterio is not only visually stunning but gives us a different take on a historical character and the MCU proves you can stray from the comics historically and still visually give fans what theyre craving. This is an excellent Spiderman movie.

This evening I went to movie mystery Monday at my local cinema. Pay three quid and you could see anything. You don't know what…
