full acceptance is peak intimacy and it went beyond just embracing in this film, it reached a point where they consumed each other and i’m a little concerned as to why i found it beautiful..?
two young souls who couldn’t remember who they were before society told them what to be.
why can’t people accept the possibility of pure platonic love?
i personally think it’s the purest most authentic form of love
it’s a real connection and not many get to experience it, and maybe that’s because their societies force an certain image of friendship, alongside casting out any connection that doesn’t fit their standards.
it’s truly gut wrenching to see what they had fall apart especially the way it did, it wasn’t adolescence, drifting apart but rather fear.
