First off, love a movie with a beat (Challengers, The Substance). I had fun watching Natalie Portman, Jenna Ortega and CZJ spin out in this cursed, bright Miami art gallery. There are thoughts on the commodification of art, ego and artistic integrity that come and go in the craziness but I (an art history major, full disclosure) vibed with the swing and wasn’t bored! Watching Natalie Portman real-time process this event and game plan was a delight.

Would say this movie is more about the reactions/cringe-comedy than the Zendaya character’s whole deal. I left the theater buzzing with Robert Pattinson’s squirrely, anxious vibes.
