First off, love a movie with a beat (Challengers, The Substance). I had fun watching Natalie Portman, Jenna Ortega and CZJ spin out in this cursed, bright Miami art gallery. There are thoughts on the commodification of art, ego and artistic integrity that come and go in the craziness but I (an art history major, full disclosure) vibed with the swing and wasn’t bored! Watching Natalie Portman real-time process this event and game plan was a delight.
Da’Vine Joy Randolph almost getting a tear of out of me with that cow painting. Molly ❤️
