Castration Movie Anthology i. Traps

hmmmmm...first part is obvious for sure but not exactly ineffectual and also has some genuine humor/horror...theres a necessary distance to make a scene of a guy reading /r9k/ posts to his furry r34 artist girlfriend work. "thats not me but could have been" as intended pathos....not a bad spot to be. think the main is also obviously the best actor of this whole runtime.

second part is disappointing--theres some interesting observations but the fucking like. 30mins+ total runtime of the…

didnt exactly laugh or have a pleasant time watching but i dont think my assessment would change if i did...VO is a doorstopper multiple times but i just never fully bought into terry or especially bahaul as anything more than signifiers. Simulatenously should have been 120 minutes and 70 minutes if ya feel me...

distressing! and abstract. laurent rlly embodies that dulled evil clients can possess....the mythological second half less effective for me because i'm stupid and not rlly well-read in the allusions to be honest. i did like the parallelization of tiresia and anne though thats well considered and sweet. as is the laurent double casting.

Didnt even kno it was a gibson flick when i agreed to go see it with my folks 😅. features a pantomime of balding mark wahlberg bouncing on dick which is something u *would* expect from mel tho....i think ambulance shows that this triptych runaway train thriller has a lot of room for Commentary but this also shows its just fun as a dramatic setup. trap is also another recent comparison. putting homicidal white dads in a locked room might be the tournament arc of hollywood thrillers

Sorkin is so cool when his nerd martyrdom is abt OPS instead of democracy. Aggregate scene is a legit all timer for me i think, the way the head scout goes "In the What?" fries me everytime 😭😭😭 movie never hits the same wit or intensity but anytime pitt and hill are the only two on screen its entertaining. rlly like the multi phonecall trade it reminded me fondly of my friend's OOTP Baseball stories 😌. Idk if it was…

she shoulda came down south instead....i coulda been in that mode #ItNeverSnowsInATL. "i have a theory that millenials are the most godless generation" is a direct quote so that abt tells u everything u need 2 kno of what goes down....i think the premise is actually quite inventive u just need to hand it off to someone with a diet thats more taboo than gilmore girls. & someone who likes things such as character exploration and dramatic tension. finished mainly because…

one of those unfortunate instances in which as a critic u gotta admit the surrounding experience of watching the film overpowered the actual text of the film...thats ok tho u kno life & ppl more important than this art shit. thats what chance the rapper said. but anyway i think its rlly competent and technical as a drama but doesn't particularly use khan's talents or identity in a explored way--the breakup scene & the conflict before it are #real for sure but…

in an era in which "shock" is used as a prefix for the most nauseating forms of SEO and page click journalism its refreshing to see something genuinely uncomfortable & taboo; show this to any self proclaimed disaffected young adult and watch the slight blush of embarrassed silence wash over them. and equally, in a true lefevrian way, the shock of this film is one way that pulls u out of any mystification--"inspiring" is too cliche but isnt it just *different*…
