Cute movie, sure. But it feels way too naive.
This isn’t some equal conflict between Israel and Palestine — Israel has total control over what happens in Gaza. Talking about peace without talking about justice, without talking about liberation, just doesn’t cut it.
The film makes it seem like this is just Jews vs. Muslims — when in reality, before Israel even existed, there were Muslims, Jews, and Christians living together in Gaza. That history gets erased.
