This was the first movie I saw in the theater in 2004 and it was pretty forgettable. This is my first rewatch since and it’s still pretty forgettable. But like most forgettable stuff from this era it plays alot better and is more fun now. Kate Bosworth brags about her first class flight have a personal DVD player and being able to watch the DVD of her choice. Simpler times.

 Those we’re the first words out of my mouth as the credits began to roll. They made such a point of saying ‘fuck you’ to any expectations and throwing all the rules out the window that I felt more engaged in a “what the fuck are they going to do now” way than I probably would have been if it was just a straightforward stalk and slash.
