Masterpiece. I was very moved by the soundtrack and ballet sequences which were very dream-like. It felt like I was watching a stage play with fun theatrical performances and hand painted expressionist sets.

Koreeda does it again. Very moving and empathetic movie.

So fun

Outrageous. Their baby gets launched out of a car window in the first few scenes and its never referenced again. Someone gets blown up with a flare gun. We never get payoff of knowing what the guy’s backstory was. Just outrageous.
