Better Call Saul-ass movie

Dacre Montgomery gives a Trap level performance and if you know me this is the highest compliment I can give

Thought the human lead from Detective Pikachu was wildly miscast (the kid who played him in 7th grade was great) in this and it kind of threw the entire movie off for me. The writing and the movie as a whole sadly did not pick up the rest of the pieces. If you told me there was a dive bar scene where a theme song for the movie was performed diegetically, I would assume it’d be my favorite scene but I found it so lethargic. Connor O’Malley jumpscare briefly perked me up though.
