‎The horrors of the pandemic are contemplatively encapsulated in this short film about a seafarer’s monotonous life aboard a ship. There is no end in sight - much like the vastness of the sea. ‎I like how it is shot in black and white showing a deeply personal account of the collective struggle we all endured. The silence is also heavy without much words heard except for the news about the pandemic's death toll. Time seemed like just an illusion…

Forced my dad to watch this with me at 7am, but he cried more at the end. He slept in between, I caught him googling the premise of the film on his phone, and he had me pausing to explain some scenes but he said he totally loved it. He even took a photo of that quote at the end and posted it on his FB stories (even though he slept through 50% of the film 😂).
