I added this to letterboxd because this is one of the most staggering instances of world-building I have ever seen. So many clever details densely packed into only 10 minutes. Unreal. 

Every time I watch this I find something new to be surprised by. It’s like they took an hour-long news presentation from something out of “idiocracy” meets “mad max” with the linguistic engineering of “a clockwork orange” and condensed it into a brain-obliterating 10 minute assault on the senses, that still manages to be a functionally devastating criticism of contemporary society and also fucking hilarious.

Masterpiece.

What this movie actually does I do appreciate, but it just does so little for me. Give me a reason to care about this guy or something to latch on to. I love slow and atmospheric films but… what actually is shown here is just too uninteresting to make me feel one way or another.

Hyperactive incessant headache-inducing entertainment product. This is the only way to make a movie that can compete with and possibly exceed the intensity and sensory stimulation of TikTok, precision engineered in Sony’s laboratory to keep your neurons flooded with enough dopamine to prevent scrolling through Instagram Reels while watching. If you showed this to the original 1920s nosferatu audience I think they would spontaneously combust
