There is something very spooky happening here. Alternately soothing and hair-raising, often times within the same shot. A painterly, cosmic apocalypse that we’re not supposed to be witness to. Play it loud and watch in total solitude and darkness. Immerse yourself and submit to the experience. There’s not much else like it out there in the modern film landscape.
