Incredible movie and cast. Gosh I love Elliot page and Allison Janney. Terrific chemistry on screen.

I thought this was just The Giver but worse. Not a strong start but my god it built into something so beautiful.

Oh man. Three hours. The first half was incredible. 
The music was the best. 
It was shot and directed incredibly. 
The sci fi aspect was good enough for me. 
The timing was good considering it was 3 hours. Lots of tension. 
But dammit. I don’t feel good coming away from this movie. 
It was so beautiful. It was also painful which contrasts the beauty nicely. 
But there’s something missing here. Better payoff? I don’t know.

The representation is refreshing. 

Love and life and grief as a teenager is devastating. And this movie captured that devastation very well. It was so easy to fall into this movie. 

The confusion. The passion. The pain. All of it. So real.

I will definitely revisit this movie some other time. 

Nice soundtrack too. 

Cathartic.
