This is Mayhem… the fragmentation of self, the dreamlike blur between illusion and reality, exploring what it means to be a woman in the spotlight, the threat of Stan culture… I just know it was on her vision board. 

I think 82 min is an amazing, even ideal runtime for most movies but…

Colors! Fabric!! And WIGS!!!!!!

I’ve been looking forward to this for months and it did NOT disappoint. So rich in texture, thanks to several many elements of creativity operating at the highest level: costumes, production design, sound, practical effects,  ACTING. I can’t even tell you whose was my favorite performance, everyone was THAT good. To say nothing of the script, embedded with nonstop IJBOLs and genuinely well-thought-out, inspiring themes… THIS is filmmaking. Boots.
