I'll just come right out and say it. I was scared. There were moments in Backrooms that I could feel my heart racing. You'd expect that with fast-paced, loud shock horrors but not with a subtly told study of nightmarish fears and psychosis set in what's more or less an abandoned bland, soulless, half empty furniture store.

I sometimes wonder what reaction the person who first said "Let's make Psycho II" got. Probably shocked looks and a slap in the face.
But someone find that person and shake their freakin' hand.

Psycho II is a great example of what a true sequel should be, take the story from the original and expand on it, take it in a new direction - don't just repeat it.
