kinda ironic how the least colorful of the three is actually the better movie (imo)
I like how the desaturated palette highlights the theme color, that in this film is less present, but used to demonstrate the bond (no not james) between certain characters. also, the camera work is great

a must-see trilogy tbh, for anyone who likes cinema

(i think im gonna watch kieślowski's decalogue next)

i really like how kieślowski inserts the theme color on this (and on blue too)
but being fr, if i was karol, after what dominique did on that phone call in paris, id never talk to her again

this is a special film

alot of y'all started logging this recently so i decided to rewatch and man.... those piano notes still hit in my soul
(my mom said atleast 10 times "this guy is insufferable" about reynolds)

the thing i like the most about this movie is how classy it is, in every aspect. The clothes, the food, the atmosphere, camera filters, the characters, their relationships, everything about this screams charm and elegance.
