The world building in this is so ahh. I have yet to see stakes good enough for enough of any these characters to sign up for something like this. Like it truly just doesn't seem like the prize is good enough or the world is bad enough. That and the way the characters act is so weird. I get that it's an autobiography but with 3 whole hours they should've made fun of these guys a lot more than they did. Also at a certain point we get it, they have sex, they do drugs. I'll give it props though, the performances were amazing and the spectacle of it all made you want to sit through until the end. However, watching white people do horrible things and laugh for 3 hours is my personal hell.
This is my friend's favorite movie so I gave it a watch and it did not disappoint. I love the overall aesthetic. The language is so so beautiful and delicate.
