everything was so extra, this did not need to be four hours.

all of the acting was so so good. at no point could i expect what happened next. i think it would be interesting to compare to "save the green planet!"

man i'm not trusting the oscars anymore.

this movie is so lovely; the visuals and cinematography are stunning. wish it had included more of the technical/scientific/linguistic stuff but i could also just read the book. watch it in 70mm imax if you can, it was definitely made for the big screen!
