A completely lame product. Just a bunch of talking and proselytizing, with the production and look of a soap opera, but not a campy and fun one. There's no passion here or originality or anything other than pap. Even if you're a fan of these actors I don't think it would entertain. Like some have already said, it feels like a bad after school special. One dude literally gets shot and it looks like a firework goes off, like in a cartoon that can't show blood. Just lame, tame, tired, old pap.

I actually bought this because a couple trusted sources were singing it's praises and saying how hilarious it was. As a longtime fan of South Park and having seen most of the episodes of that show, I wouldn't necessarily say this is that essential. Drag Me to Hell

Didn't expect this rating but I was ready for it. I think I'm starting to understand Raimi better. His eye is one of whimsy over straight horror. Why I was comparing him in the realm of Carpenter or Hooper instead of Tim Burton was my mistake. He's closer to the latter. He loves big set pieces and big laughs intertwined with the disgusting goopy stuff, and a little Halloween flavor topping it off.
