When will we get a good adaptation of Resident Evil
Really interesting. Definitely for fans of the material, but I don’t think it’s completely inaccessible to those who haven’t seen the series. The visuals are great and the score does a great job of making everything feel off. Kane Parsons’ got it. My only criticisms mainly have to do with some repetitive beats and it not really feeling like there’s a full 3 acts here.

So I watched this at an AMC Scream Unseen. I was expecting Together, so when Pete Davidson’s face appeared on screen I felt my soul leave my body. I genuinely thought about walking out of the theater, but what kept me was the audience and how we all collectively realized this is the worst best thing to watch this year.

Uproariously absurd and full of wall to wall laughs, The Monkey is a spectacular feat from the best minds in horror. It won’t scare you socks off, it’ll laugh them off. I already can’t wait to see it again!
Points off just for the bad CGI and character who’s just there to move the plot along, but yeah other than that Theo James slayed, needed more Elijah Wood
