feel like they tried to write an entire movie off of one scene idea they probably had in the shower and then chose arguably the worst actor to play it out

pretty terrible to watch but i think maybe an accurate representation of colonization and the end all be all mentality that was inevitable at the time? in all the animal cruelty docs i’ve seen in my 12 yrs of veganism that horse treatment stung me the most. 
this sent me down a wikipedia rabbit hole of klaus kinski and his sexual allegations and similarly roman polanski’s. 
this film was eye opening

i’m trying REALLY hard not to let this taint the band for me in any way

the pig the tooth the raw meat. you gotta appreciate the directorial nods but cinematically he’s doing some crazy shit on top of. whispers of genius in between chuckles, i was both disgusted and in awe for the entirety of it. a perfect film and i will be thinking about this score for weeks to come.
