All Night Long
★★★★ Rewatched

Perky little comedy with the always reliable Gene Hackman playing a management dude fed up with the corporate life and secretly craving to alter his life's course by becoming an inventor. His son is fooling around with an older woman, his wife doesn't like his general attitude, and that older woman (Babs) starts batting her eyelashes at Dad. There is an excellent supporting cast lead by the gruff Kevin Dobson, who bosses around Babs just a bit too much. Damn, she can't even play her organ! This is a very enjoyable flick you won't regret settling in with.

★★★★★ Rewatched

★★★½ Rewatched

Having bought the DVD and having let it set lonely on my shelf for years, I pulled it out, out of the blue,…

The World Before Your Feet
★★★★½ Watched

Amazing what going to a movie will do. I walked out of the theater after seeing this, feeling no animosity toward anyone. Was not feeling threatened by anyone. And basically, was devoid of my usual worries and frets. Inevitably, this would only last for a while but STILL. It's wonderful. On to the movie, or in fact, document of a movie. A documentary. You will learn a LOT about the neighborhoods of New York City. You learn a LOT about…
