You kind of think that Brando can’t actually be as good in this as his reputation would say. But my God he is incredible. In fact everyone is. One of the best acting ensembles you will ever see.

Melodramatic in the best way. Bernstein going nuts with the score. Beautiful black and white cinematography.

I have some problems with this, but all in all it is a mightily impressive debut for someone so young. Parsons has a better grasp of space than a lot of seasoned pros do. 

It does just about justify its existence as a feature length film. Although my favourite stuff was everything on the hand held 90s cameras exploring the backrooms which makes me think I’d really enjoy the original web-series in comparison. It does certainly help when you have…

It’s been an hour since this finished and the tension still hasn’t left my body. I laughed a lot, I squirmed in my seat. It was fantastic to watch in a packed cinema. Two unbelievable lead performances, especially Inde Navarrette. A highlight of the year so far.
