HOLY SHIT it's rare that a film with such critical acclaim is EVEN BETTER than the hype. my thoughts are still percolating so maybe I'll come back and write more later, but GOD this was good.

new favorite movie of all time I think, I have never been so absolutely decimated by the beauty of a film. every shot is so incredible, the editing is fantastic, the sound design is gorgeous, the writing is so dreamy. It's been a few days since I've seen it and it is following me everywhere. God bless a director with insane attention to detail. I wanted to lie down in the middle of the street and weep afterwards. SO glad I saw this in a theater, it's so amazing to be surrounded by every sound and color.

first John Waters film and it was DELIGHTFUL! perfectly timed, perfectly acted, the courtroom scene was so good i could have watched it all night long. I'm so glad I saw it in a theater, so much fun to laugh along with everyone
