Okay yeah this rips. Inde Navarrette is an absolute star and certified Scream Queen. Great, efficient screenplay with a simple concept that just goes all in. Seeing this with a crowd was awesome. Michael Johnston played his role perfectly too. What a fucked up thrill ride. More Inde movies please
Art directors and production designers must have had so much fun with this one. Love the atmospheric, claustrophobic vibe, and the best part of the movie was of course the found footage/VHS stuff.
There are some story elements/character beats that I could pick apart, but overall thought this was really well-directed for someone who can’t legally drink. Good shit
