A little sad but mostly a lot of fun. Visually obsessed with this movie.
I feel like I need to sit with this film, or give it a second watch before giving a full review; mostly because it was so different than what I was expecting (in a good way).
I would put Marty up there with Daniel Plainview for iconic money hungry characters I simultaneously love and truly hate.
It’s hard not to be completely immersed in this movie. Glad I saw this one in the theatre.
An engaging meditation on life and death. I absolutely love the simplicity of the plot and the way the main story revolves around these complex ideas. I love that we are with the main character the entire time as he must decide his fate as well. We get to exprience his inner conflict and struggle up until the very end. This film is a great achievement and should definitely be watched.
