"Marty Supreme" is a movie about the lengths a person will go to preserve their pride and obtain a dream, often at the price of their dignity, sense of identity, and relationships with other people. The film absolutely earned its obnoxious advertising campaign and it got its point across magnificently.

Babylon, directed by Damien Chazelle is a film where the director put his full creative vision on display largely uninhibited. It was flawed and overly indulgent but ultimately a well made movie with clear craftsmanship on display. The same cannot be said for Megalopolis.

Claustrophobic yet agoraphobic at the same time. You feel trapped in the woods yet also out in the open, like a desert. Many stunning shots in this film, many with branches and glades shrouding the eyes, adding that much more to the tense environment. Reynolds is electric as Lewis, whole cast performs admirably.
