3.75/5.  I have no connection to the book, so it was easier for me to enjoy this film.  Gorgeous cinematography, great soundtrack, and all the actors were great.  Movie was a vibe and I'm picking up what it's putting down.

Perfect blend of horror and comedy.  Seeing it in a packed theater was exactly how this film needed to be seen.

The hype machine definitely hurt the fear factor for me with this one, but I still find this movie to be very entertaining.  An atmospheric slow burn with some great performances and a moody soundtrack.
