fell in love with the main character i could tell this was made by a 100% women producing crew
The way this documentary balanced the political moment of her detainment/trial with the issues of female pro athletics and then also the experience growing up queer in the south was so perfect to me and delivered on everything. It really felt like a story of love- for the game, her family and her community.
