The scariest part is this could really happen once all the humans die out.
Judy and Nick's chemistry forms the foundation on a which the film's tone, story and themes rest. For the most part, it works. It's fun to watch them bounce off each other throughout the movie's winding plot, but I'm not sure the deeper moments between them pack as strong of a punch as intended.
Luckily I've heard of certain fan works which explore addional difficult topics regarding Judy and Nick's relationship. It's heartwarming to see the zootopia community carry the torch in this way. The world is good.
