Aleshea Harris successfully adapted her play into a great directorial debut about twin sisters out for revenge. Similar to Kill Bill in the way the main villain isn’t shown much but you hate him and want to see justice by the end of the film. Great acting, music, and cinematography as well.

My favorite movie so far this year. Curry Barker wrote, directed, and edited his first film and every aspect is very well done. Please go see this film and give Inde Navarrette her Oscar.

After watching Oddity I have been looking forward to whatever director Damian Mc Carthy did next and I was not disappointed. He is one of the best modern directors at building a sense of dread with sound and strange objects. I went into this movie blind without watching the trailer and suggest doing the same. If you watch and enjoy this move also check out Caveat and Oddity.
