Master of the Flying Guillotine
★★★★★ Liked Watched

My old co-worker told me once about a long lost memory of him watching ‘Master of the Flying Guillotine’ he was explaining the guillotine to me and how thought it was so strange. I love asking my co-workers about strange movies they have seen. For some reason this had convinced me I needed to see this movie on 35mm for my first time watch. So the thought was always in the back of my head and I knew it was…

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
★★★★★ Liked Rewatched

Pure 90s unfiltered Nickelodeon level green slime ooziness times 10x … it’s dates it’s self by its self references to popular culture icons. It’s essentially a modern remake of Todd Brownings Freaks— it’s weird and gave me BeetleJuice vibes but in a good way.

My friend has told me several times to check this movie out and i'm glad I finally did this is a lot of fun and similar to Creepshow or Twilight Zone the movie. Highly recommend if it's in your blind spot and you want a good laugh.

Projection

I don’t watch many micro budget movies but Projection took me by surprise! Filmed all on 16mm film! This is an ambitious story about a father and son relationship which, the father directing the son to write and direct a movie— the story he writes appears to be about directing a horror film. I totally got Anguish vibes from this movie as well as Charlie Kauffman-ism too. However, the story is very its own thing. I really enjoyed the sub-plot…
