First things first, thank you to this wonderful girl that brought Girls Town to my attention. It is one of the very, very few films whereby almost every scene resembled something I have experienced myself, like a deja vu that does not ever stop. Not even a vicarious experiencing of events; it straight up felt like I saw parts of my life on screen in the most genuine, raw depiction possible.

Believe me when I say I tried to look at this... "movie" as a stand-alone piece of cinema. Believe me when I say I really tried. But my effort was to no avail. And I have read the book multiple times at different stages of my life. No words can be enough to describe the horrendous, abysmal bullshit this is. So, we are done making Frankenstein merely a silly daddy issues tale, and now we move on to Wuthering Heights…
