The film’s beautiful cinematography stood out from the start, around the third minute, when Mahtab and then the rest of the travellers broke the fourth wall and it continued until the very end. One of the highlighted moments was definitely when they were mourning by tearing down the decorative and hanging black sheets.
Not to forget about Rahi’s insistence on continuing the ceremony which made his face the most punchable I’ve ever seen.
Last but not least, Babak Bayat’a ost gave me goosebumps in different scenes, specially towards the end when Mahrokh is climbing down the stairs making it even more tormenting and devastating.
