Un film in cui l'audio sembra fatto con l'eliminazione del rumore al contrario. Non si sente niente e quel poco non fa ridere, non emoziona e fa pure girare le palle. Maledetti Gen X e le loro palpitazioni sentimentali

One of the worst "inspired by an anime series" movie I have ever seen. All the characters are downright opposites of the ones you have grown to love in the series and the animation quality is shoddy at best.
Nadia, from the indipendent, proud and smart girl from the series, becomes a mediocre journalist, with a despotic boss who she always says yes to.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?!?!

If you've ever watched the original version with the wonderful Conrad Veldt, i really fail to see how you can say this one is good.
It's a horrible pastiche of the book, most things don't even make sense (Gwymplain lives his whole life separated from the world and then has the guts to tell the politicians how the country should be run? really?) and the love story is even watered down.
Depardieu probably had some debts to pay in order to star in this.
Avoid at all costs.
