Focusing mainly on Roy and the accusations against her, the film is a nice addition and commentary on all the activism and writings (especially The Great Common Good, an essay which is also read in the film) the author has been doing about the Narmada Valley throughout the years.

a perfect complement, and a better film in my opinion, to A Narmada Diary.
What I found particularly fascinating and insightful is the complexity of the forces and powers at work. It's about the construction of a dam and the lives of people affected by it, but it's above all about the centralisation of authority and power...

The plot is thin and predictable (Indy Jones-like) but the spirit is very faithful to the original series, and surprisingly the CG works well, besides some stiffness in some of the characters. The gags, the funny parts, and the characterization (especially Letitia) were the highlights for me. The music and the action scenes were also positive. A decent film and a fun ride, particularly if you’re a fan.
