Sorry but if I’m gonna sit in a packed theater to watch cgi cutscenes for nearly 4 hours I want to see something new, not Way of Water b-sides and half baked ideas. The fact that this has no alien animal planet section is a huge mark against it, and that's not even getting into the actual Native Savage shit Cameron puts in here with little to no development in a true waste of Oona Chaplin's talent. We gotta lock James Cameron in a room with concept artists for the next decade if we want the next movie to be any good.

Maybe THE Post-War America film, trying to create a better story for yourself in a land that is at best ambivalent towards you, and knowing that this story is nothing more than a veil to mask vengeance. Despite the fact that Ford was in all likelihood throwing pearls before swine given general audiences' tastes, I do like that he had some hope for the masses given that Shakespeare in Tombstone scene, which is just gorgeous. The shadows in this are ridiculous, especially in that first bar scene which looks like the frames were individually inked.

This is like if Scorsese made a Marvel movie.
