would've loved if the art school turned out to be in Texas
finally someone adapted "the garden of earthly delights" by hieronymus bosch into a movie (and did a good job too).
their previous movies were much more experimental, e.g. the cinematographer's choice of wide angle shots in "the favourite". here everything felt very mature, their artistic potential is truly fully realized.
the sets were very inventive, I love how they portrayed the styles of the various cities, but with a surrealistic, kinda steampunk twist.
also, there were so many little details…
