it’s a complete miracle that this is still at all coherent with some of the plot points but it IS and it’s fucking FUNNY. complete absurdism done REALLY WELL. losing my mind this was so fun and ridiculous.

I had to see the preview for this like 12 times and found it really annoying and had absolutely no intent of seeing it but then I heard so many good things and woke up this morning wanting something silly and fun 

genuinely really enjoyable and I cried like 6 times at my big age. shoutout to nicholas braun for being one of maybe a dozen american actors who can pull off an english accent that isn’t unlistenable!

yeah I’ve seen it 6 times in 2 weeks what about it 

seriously, I think this is the best use of light I’ve ever seen. cannot fucking get over the reflections, colors, shadows, lens flares, etc. we’re looking through textured glass with a lot of edges for so much of the film and the way that warps whatever image we’re seeing is unbelievably beautiful. 

also, I think ryland is genuinely one of my favorite characters of all time
