“Who are you?”
Perfect Blue felt like a beautiful nightmare that slowly pulled me into her mind until I couldn’t tell what was real anymore.

Perfect Blue felt like a beautiful nightmare that slowly pulled me into her mind until I couldn’t tell what was real anymore.
Black Swan felt like watching someone slowly break under the unbearable weight of needing to be perfect… and that pain stayed with me.
It was more than just disturbing — it was heartbreaking, beautiful, and emotionally suffocating. Nina’s desperation for perfection, love, and control slowly consumed her until there was almost nothing left of who she was.
Every scene felt heavy, like watching the fragile line between beauty and destruction disappear.
“I was perfect.”
And somehow, after everything, those words felt less like victory… and more like tragedy.
“I’d rather die drunk, broke at 34 and have people at a dinner table talk about me than live to be rich and sober at 90 and nobody remembered who I was.” -Andrew
Whiplash was actually insane because what the hell did I just watch???
The pressure, the obsession, the suffering… absolutely not. Andrew really went through all that for greatness and honestly? I could never.
Amazing movie, but that level of pain and dedication is terrifying.
