Amazing representation of what hangxiety feels like. 

Got up to pace around my room multiple times while watching it. 

Very similar to Eddington in terms of capturing the current cultural moment.

But similar to Dream Scenario I don’t think it quite sticks the landing.

More like Close Encounters of the Turd Kind hahahaha.

But not really, good movie. Really holds up visually

Best Coppola movie.

Really feels like you are going insane along with the characters.

Forgot about the needle drops which are amazing.

Watched the 3 hour cut.
While I understand the perspective that the French plantation sequence provides it does drag a bit during those scenes.

Looks amazing as well.

A movie that leaves you with questions like:
 “Do soulmates exist?”, 
“How does our environment shape us?”, 
“Can you ever truly know someone if you don’t speak their native language?”
“Wait, is he third wheeling with his wife?”, 
“Did I spend the evening watching an expertly crafted cuck fantasy?”.
