Oo, That bubbly electro score + slick pace had me transported back to Fast & The Furious in theatres vibes. And with all those early aughts hunks! Hah. It was a decent heist flick! Definitely the primer for a larger franchise, I’d say? $$$ Maybe I was hoping for more of a twist, but I get it. Entertaining and I maintained a “medium anxiety” throughout.

I watched this bc I liked the poster design and was also curious about seeing how jack nicholson's son read onscreen. I actually can't believe I sat through the entire thing, as it was simply not my preferred style of bizarro. It all just felt stilted and awkward to watch. Kind of hollow overall.

nonstop chuckling from start to finish. so much to love + appreciate about this film. can't believe I haven't seen it until now.

the yoyo sex scene was actually pretty brilliant. also, the random perry farrell cameo, lmao. i think I'll write another review after I've seen it a few more times. gregg araki 4lyfe!
