I'm sorry y'all, PTA didn't hit for me here. My gf said it best - "man tries to do Miranda July but misses that we care about relationships." Basically, the women are 1-D and low-key serve as obstacles for a man for whom we're made to feel sorry. Nothing happens until the last 30 minutes, but Philip Seymour Hoffman is just that good.

Perfect documentary. Really shows the artistry a director can have with real subjects, nonfiction can be stylish. Also, how did Errol get the subjects to say such crazy shit?? Genius.

It was a feel good romp! Had fun watching with my own best friend in the theater.
