mate DONT PISS ME OFFFFF. hated this whole goddamn thing. adam scott’s character was so insufferable i truly didn’t care about anything happening. the only thing that got me was that fucking scary bunny and even that had like 45 seconds of screen time and wasn’t utilised enough. this was an enjoyment vacuum of a film

this rewatch hit sm deeper and was much more bleak and upsetting this time around. yes, i felt just as uncomfortable and anxious during this film as the first watch. yes, on a conceptual level it’s scary and sickening. and yes, the hilarious dialogue and creepy suspenseful scenes and intentional lighting and fast pacing also make this film work as well as it does, but it’s the messaging and symbolism that’s been eating away…
