Sort of sad that just about all of the CGI in this now plays as "AI Tubi commercial", instead of cheap/strange in a possibly ingratiating way. On the other hand, no one ever really liked this movie, so that might be overstated. Josh Sawyer has been attempting and failing to capture what Helen Mirren is doing here for the past 15 odd years.

There's an Oliver Hardy impersonator toddling around and day drinking that represents bourgeois vanity, which is cool. I like the shot where he's passed out next to a table of heavily frosted pastries, really conveys an air of suffocating malaise
